Replying to accounts in my niche with genuine thoughts helped more than X Premium. Threads also seem to perform better than single tweets lately.
To be honest X has turned into a total stream of bots and follow-for-follow farms. Growing organically is insanely hard. Even if you make great content without paid ads or support from other creators you will just be shouting into the void

paying for a blue checkmark and replying to creators in your niche seems to be the optimal way to grow on X.
however I find the whole platform to be saturated with shitposts and less valuable for businesses nowaways, so i prefer to spend my time replying and providing value on reddit with no blue check.
