Hi, I'm working on an app that lets you record portrait and landscape at the same time and gives you two separate videos, both which retain quality (not simply a crop of one another).

I made this for my parter who's an IG/TikTok creator, so it's useful to help her with Youtube + landscape reels.

Is this something you would actually find useful or could save you time making content?

What it does:

Single Lens: record with phone's native 4:3 sensor and crops a vertical 9:16 and horizontal 16:9 from it, no quality loss and actually different outputs. 4k 60fps (if phone can handle it).
Dual Lens: record with both iPhone camera lens (wide + ultra-wide) at the same time, giving you different FOVs. HD, 60fps.
Creator workflow: side-by-side review and trim post-recording, projects/scene/take organisation.
