For local businesses, “post more” is usually the wrong brief
The small-business social media threads that feel most useful to me all point to the same thing:
the problem is rarely “we need more posts.”
It is usually something more specific:
- customers do not understand the price
- people do not know what to choose first
- the booking or cancellation rule is not clear
- the location is inconvenient
- the owner has proof, but no simple way to package it
- the offer is real, but the post does not remove any hesitation
For local businesses, I think a better brief is:
“What customer hesitation should this post remove?”
That might become a menu graphic, a short process clip, a first-visit explainer, or a pinned FAQ.
For people managing social for local services or small shops:
what customer hesitation has produced better content for you than a normal promo post?
