Research shows that 5 to 40% of cops are abusers.
The police have done an amazing job at convincing the public that they’re here for you and that they’re necessary.
They aren’t. They’re glorified report takers and will either not help you or won’t be able to in time nine times out of ten. Add to that the fact that they might hurt you instead, and it’s better just to not call them.
We would all be better served by diverting their funding to welfare and social services - people trained to help someone in crisis, etc. Some police are necessary. Some. A fraction of what there is today.
That and they track you. Idk how many of them have been caught using the cameras to track people.
And a new information came out that they personally stop women they find attractive or even go back to hit on women who are in a mentally weak state after an bad incident to get with them easier.
Plus when you break up he will stalk you with flock cameras
*when
*When he starts “tweaking out”
Or if he goes to a cop party and gets killed, they gonna try frame it on you.
My mother BEGGED ME never to date anyone in law enforcement, for the exact same reasons she just described. She said that the power imbalance was just too great.
Thats actually an extremely valid point
Who you gonna call?
Look up the story of the Neptune, New Jersey cop who pursued his wife and daughter in a car then crashed into her. In 2015.
Leading to a standoff between himself outside, herself in the car, and multiple Asbury Park police officers who responded, surrounding him.
Then during the standoff he proceeded to shoot and kill his wife through her car window from the outside.
With their daughter still inside the car.
While the other cops stood by and as far as I am concerned did nothing.
I believe the responding officers were found to have acted appropriately per protocols. I think they should have been charged as accessories.
I forgot to mention he was allowed to stay on duty and maintain possession of firearms despite multiple prior domestic violence calls/claims over the years between him and his wife. Even though local law enforcement was found to have followed proper procedures related to this as well, after the murder the county prosecutor enacted an early warning system for claims filed against a police officer 🤔
