Sry to break it to you, but under your current president you DON‘T HAVE A FUTURE FOR ENVIRONMENT - none whatsoever. The whole government is so corrupt, that even the last few normal guys have given up and just try to make a good living before the earth collapses (probably just most of humanity dies and well huddle for couple thousand years, but hey - elon was worth over a trillion for couple days)

I work in the tech industry and have had a few people try to explain to me why they arent bad and it’s so clear they have no clue how a data center works.

The reason they can be so loud is the giant fuck off fans, coolers, generators they have running 24/7 and the reason they fuck with water is because they don’t use a closed loop system like a pc might do. They just take in cool water, run it through their system, then dump it back out since it’s more efficient to not have to cool down heated water.

Also they don’t create jobs. Outside contractor build them and then it takes like 10 people max to keep it running so you have a costco sized building burning gas and polluting water and there’s 2 people working there at a time.

Has a change.org petition ever legitimately achieved something substantial?

I’m so tired. I don’t want to be a doomer. But God I’m just so tired of this shit.

I read something recently about a family donating land to the city and the city turned around and sold it to it to Amazon or whatever. Just soul crushing.

Who knew fighting data centers would become the big distraction. Everyday in America is a god damned fight. We have to fight pedophile politicians, ICE, racist election policies, weakened food standards so we’re dodging a new food every week, unmanageable healthcare costs, women losing the rights to our bodies, it’s something new every other week. We can’t go on like this.
