I appreciate the guy saying "you cant interrupt with natude" like yeah its hard to do but you have to respect it and he stuck around to watch it all.

Am I the only one who was waiting for a seagull to come swooping down to eat Franklin? Cause that’s the kinda messed up things I’m used to seeing here??

You should not pick up a sea turtle making it's way to the ocean. It needs to use its energy on the beach to build the muscles needed to swim. It also helps orient the turtles inner magnetic field (science is crazy)

however, you can and are encouraged to clear the path of any debris, fill in any large holes made by humans that could trap them, and avoid using any cameras/lights.

It is ok to stand close-ish but at a distance to deter birds and other predators.

Does nobody know that like 1% of turtle hatchlings that reach the sea make it to adulthood?
