Brand accounts don't die because the content is bad. They die at week three and the reason is structural.
pattern I kept seeing and eventually understood.
brand starts posting. week one is daily. week two slips to every other day. week three is dead. everyone calls it motivation.
it isn't. daily posting is six separate jobs: find what's trending today, write it so it doesn't sound like an ad, get someone on camera, edit it, post at the right hour, then read the numbers and decide what tomorrow looks like.
one person can do all six. nobody does all six every day for a year. that's 365 of each.
the part nobody mentions. step six almost never happens. so nothing compounds. you post, it does whatever it does, tomorrow you start over guessing. after 200 videos you've learned nothing actionable, because no human holds 200 videos of results in their head.
that's not a content strategy, it's a slot machine.
The best-performing hook I found was "I wish someone told me this sooner..." and it took about 70 videos before I realized it was outperforming everything else by a meaningful margin. seventy. that's most of a year at a normal posting cadence, to learn one thing.
AI video tools don't fix this. they solve steps three and four and leave the other four with you. generating the video was never the hard part.
I built something that runs all six and closes the loop, meaning it reads how each post performed and changes what it makes next. mine, called UGC King (easy to find on google), full disclosure.
comment "week three" and I'll reply with the link here in the thread.
curious whether week three matches what other people see.
