Stop exalting luxury! These things only exist when there’s ungodly concentrations of wealth. I’d rather 10,000 clean, functional trains exist in place of this one gaudy luxury car.

Sick of media making us think we want luxurious experiences while upholding a system that deprives many of us of agency in our own lives.

Trains like this were invented for the newly ultra wealthy classes in the late 19th century (in the U.S.) to better accommodate the scum I mean rich peaking in the gilded age.  No wonder we are back to ensuring the rich can maintain their need to feel special inside the cabin while they breeze pass the destitution they cause outside of it.
