It’s a Russian franchise called Fein, they have one in Yerevan, Armenia. They don’t run the vacuum tubes for every order, they do it once an hour and bump the Travis Scott track on a Deisgner sound system. Tourist come in to film it, afterwards the whole staff has to act like it’s the coolest thing ever by cheering and clapping. I’m pretty sure the don’t use the beans for actual coffee orders just recycle them for the show. The design of the shop is cool, but this gimmick gets super tired.

I feel bad for the underpaid 20 year old that has to clean those tubes.

The coffee house near me has one of those roasters as well. They just walk over and get the beans because it’s more efficient.
