Wow. I was buying new Levi, and I was like...I swear these are thinner and not the same as the ones I bought online. Could be wrong though. It was JCPenney.
For some stores, this was always true, right? I’m sure it’s happening more and more because of inflation, but some brands have their own factory stores.
Went outlet shopping this summer and I definitely felt like it was not easy to get deals that were any different than what you’d get it a regular mall.

I shop outlets because they are less crowded and have more sizes in stock. I know the discounts are bullshit.
We go there all the time, known this for years. They still have decent shoes at the Nike store.
Corporations have slowly perfected how to extract every last drop of value out of every last thing they can get value from. We're all suffering in numerous ways because of it. It's why everything feels so fake and flimsy. Everything.
I thought we always knew that the outlet lines were different from the brands main, more premium lines? Like how the brand name stuff at TJMaxx is often just stuff made exclusively for those stores, just at a less premium style and quality.
