But you don’t need a hook be authentic! Teach viewers something! Give them a reason to follow! Remind them to follow! Choose a branding font & color! But don’t overthink it!

Literally what? How is this fun anymore? I can’t even feel confident posting my confident cuz I don’t have a damn clue if it’s meeting the criteria for valuable, returnable, target audience content. I’m exhausted. How do you do it all? How do you know if it’s right?

I think the missing piece is that you are treating every piece of advice as a pass/fail test. Most of those rules are just hypotheses, and you do not need to satisfy all of them at once.

I would pick one audience, one problem you can talk about without forcing it, and one repeatable format for a month. Then judge the pattern by whether the right people respond or come back, not by whether every post has the perfect hook, color, or content bucket.

A simple note after each post can help: what did I say, who was it for, and did making it feel sustainable? If the process is making you dread posting, that is useful feedback too. A personal brand should make your experience easier to recognize, not turn every upload into an exam.
