I had the account unsuspended through an appeal sent from a different email address.

In that post https://www.reddit.com/r/rednote/comments/1v92tkg/banned_from_messaging/ , an xhs employee (whose account has since been deleted) told people to appeal to [email protected]. I appealed and got my account back, using the following form: You state that you did not violate their terms, send your account ID, and send a screenshot of the reason for the account suspension.

My disabled account requires identity verification via passport, but since I do not have one, I have to file an appeal.

Their email response time is less than one week.

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship...
