I had a parent who reported me to the principal because I said her son did silly nonsense in my class.
The kid was a 9th grader on the basketball team in a sports class. He couldn’t explain the differences between a center and a guard in basketball. He had to pick any team and formulate an argument about it being the best team ever to the rest of the class. He picked the 1986 lakers (a defensible pick) used pictures of Wilt and Doncic, (and Kevin McHale - notable a not laker) and said in his argument that it’s because they have LeBron. He AId it and it was pretty obvious. So when his mom asked what I meant by nonsense, I said this.
She told the principal I had it out for her kid because I said this and that I didn’t give him snacks.
Can’t help but laugh at them.
