I’d separate “where people discover you” from “where membership lives.” If membership involves paid events and knowing who is actually in the group, trying to manage that separately across Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor will get messy fast.

A practical setup would be:

• keep posting natively on each platform for discovery
• have one simple joining process that everyone uses, regardless of where they found you
• collect the same basics each time: name, age/location if relevant, preferred contact method, and event interest
• send a clear confirmation after they join so they know they are a member even if they never use Facebook
• keep one central member list behind the scenes, not three separate “truths” across platforms

For Instagram-only people, I’d treat Instagram as the front door, not the clubhouse. They can find updates there, but membership should still flow into the same central process as everyone else.

That also helps later if you run events: you are not relying on people seeing one platform’s posts, and you have a cleaner list of who has actually joined versus who just follows an account.
