It’s not only that people have nothing to life for - it’s that for too long people (and technology) have trained themselves to react too quickly to everything. Many people no longer have the ability to ration out beyond 5 minutes, an hour, a day, a year.

They may have everything to live for but just can’t seem to stop their impulses based on emotion.

People are crazy. This guy cut me off and so I was kinda tailgating him. This kid ended up following me and shooting out my back window. Florida is crazy.

"Don't go out of your way to mess with people because they might not have something to lose" is such a weird attitude.
