Good cities you’d recommend for a university senior to live with a large social media strategist/Social Media Analyst job market?

Hello,

I am currently a 5th year student that goes to a large SEC school. I major in Advertising with a dual minor in Social Media Analytics and Digital Media.

I am currently going to start my first social media job/internship this fall (2 weeks from now). I have a website showcasing my class projects as well as social media work I’ve done for my own content page as well as other clients.

I’ve been meeting with my university career coach/advisor since the beginning of my junior year to make sure I’m as prepared as possible. I met with them recently and they told me I’m in a better position than 90% of my graduating class.

As a person graduating Fall 2027, I need to start planning and connecting with alumni of my school in cities I am interested in joining. I was wondering what cities would you recommend me to start searching/learning about that has a good advertising/social media job market?

Side note: I will be graduating completely debt free, so I think I can afford to go live somewhere with a slightly higher COL, but anywhere where I can get work is fine.

(I don’t Drive due to road anxiety, walkable/public transit cities are must)

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook).
