Is there a legal way to market to the right target audience, geographically?
It's 2026 and most social media still market my posts about our brand to locals (Europe) while 90% of our audience is in the US. I've read all kinds of advice about using VPNs and other methods to trick the algorithm, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this without risking a fine or shadow ban, like a strict or specific 'posting or browsing diet' or something...
I don't mind people knowing we're from Europe, I just want our socials to show our posts in the US. It's really annoying. I do 80% of my communication in English, mostly visit international websites, and my browsers keep redirecting big platforms to local ones and keeps showing me local content I'm not interested in.
