"Why aren't people having kids nowadays?"
"I dunno, but lets charge 60 dollars for a box of diapers."
I couldn't believe they were that much cheaper in the UK, but they are. WTF. Between £3 -£28 depending on the size box.
Why are they so over priced here (besides the obvious American corporate greed)?
So much winning...
I consistently see only two things locked up in grocery stores around me, laundry detergent and baby formula.
We've failed to help people who really need help in the U.S.
The way right-leaning politicians have managed to make the US one of the hardest first world countries to live in, while at the same time convincing their constituents that the US is the greatest country on Earth, is a phenomenon that should be studied. Actually, I think it was in school books. Then that same right-wing government started banning those books.
76 diapers cost £15 in the UK. That's $20.
Oh hey look, it's one of the real reasons republicans WANT you to have kids. Because if you didn't, who'd buy all the severely overpriced baby products?
THATS HOW MUCH DIAPERS COST?! JESUS CHRIST!
Lol Americans flexing how much more they make than the average European while also paying 4 times as much for all consumer goods. Absolutely hilarious.
Americans are oblivious to how shit things are here.
