Proposal of a block by Location/City feature

Hey everyone, I was thinking about a privacy feature that I feel is missing from current social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Right now, if you want a public profile to share content or grow an audience, you are also forced to be visible to people you know in real life (neighbors, coworkers, local acquaintances). Sometimes you just want to express yourself without the awkwardness of people from your own town watching you.

I think it would be amazing if platforms introduced a feature to optionally make a (public) profile invisible only to people who might know you locally or from your same city (or even more than one, why not, you never know hahaha).

Currently, the only options are going fully private or manually blocking people one by one, which is exhausting.

I would like to propose this feature to at least Instagram and TikTok. You know, sometimes you want to put your projects out there and not near here😂😂😂

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
