Many British people do not want to live in small towns, so refugees and migrants are being welcomed to settle there

Regardless how you feel about it this does not fix the underlying problems in society, it's nothing more than a short term boost to a number on a peice of paper in a government office somewhere. Those migrants children will also want to move away and possibly not have kids of their own either for the same reasons it is happening with the local populations.

Lazy policy, bad for long term (nothing to do with how you feel about migrants themselves). These humans also need resources and will eventually get old and have health problems too.

Nah youre right, people are leaving because there is no industry so its best to keep literally anyone from migrating there.

How do I get a quick visa or should I get a boat?

The problem isn't migrants, its the rich and big business. The fact that places like tesco stole the butchers shops, the bakers, the green grocers from the high street and now amazon is stealing everything from the book shops to hardware shops, just eat, uber and so many more, thats the reason there is no personal industry left and its only getting worse.

It's crazy how the UK makes it hard for Americans to immigrate to places like this. I'd live in an idyllic little Scottish town with cheap housing.
