The morality crack

Just some abstract far away politics for you, life and death question for me. That's the difference.

No-one goes no-contact because of geo-politics.

Much of politics SHOULDN'T be an "agree to disagree" kind of situation. You can disagree on pizza toppings, not whether or not trans people deserve to be treated like people, women having bodily autonomy, or immigrants being rounded up like animals with zero due process.

They don't get it. Voting to hurt "the other" is fucking mind boggling and hurts worse because I happen to be "the other". (Queer, health issues and a PoC.) Making sure bigots feel empowered is how I ended up seeing someone in my urban city doing a "Nazi salute".

And I keep telling the truth to people that just because Chinese folks aren't targeted yet with the violence, they'd aim it at us. Doesn't anyone remember all the elderly aunties/uncles getting jumped because of covid?
