3464% growth in comment engagement MoM, is this normal or crazy good?
Last month I started working with a metal band managing their accounts which had about 50k followers on IG, TT, and FB.
My background is in software, so I can automate a lot of tasks, so I took raw images and videos from this band's dropbox, with years of raw content from all their tours and studio sessions, and came out with a full month of content scheduled.
The pain point as my friend who runs the band describes it is: doing this work manually takes a long time, and it's hard to do it right because all the posts need to match the band's voice and identity. I assume this is for everyone, not just artists.
RESULTS:
- Period: Jul 29 to Aug 27
- Reactions: 8.8k (up 1762.2%)
- Total followers: 54.3k (+356)
I'm wondering if these are considered "crazy good" results or it's just a numbers game because the band used to post manually, and now with 1280% more posts over the previous month the rest of the metrics also go up.
The growth in comment engagement is 3x the growth in posts, is it safe to assume this beats any manual posting they did in the past?
