How are they gonna blame the rider? If the rider "uses the ride as instructed" they won't have brain damage? The fuck they supposed to do, maintain a certain neck angle or keep your arms tucked a certain way? It's ridiculous. Why have a ride that requires riders to be a certain way to avoid brain damage?
Seriously it’s about time this is talked about. I went on that ride back when it first opened and back when I was a teen I was good on every roller coaster but this one put me out for the day. I was told I was being a baby but I know when I have motion sickness that was not it. It felt more like a concussion.
I guess the "don't ride if you have a pre-existing condition" disclaimer will only go so far when your ride is actively finding those conditions.
I definitely built this death trap in rollercoaster tycoon 2 and after the people died the ride was shut down and no one wanted to come to my park anymore.
How unrealistic
I’ve rode this ride twice the first time it was fine. The second time which was years later was painful. It felt like they hadn’t oiled the bar that allows for your seats to spin. It was so painful.
My spouse takes our young son to the Six Flags in Arlington, TX and it always scares me, especially because they just opened a new ride there that has beaten a lot of roller coaster “records”. He thought I was being ridiculous when I said I didn’t want them going on it opening weekend, or really until the ride was well established. This is exactly why.

I still have this photo of me and my friend from 16 years ago. A picture’s worth a thousand words or something like that lmao.
I’m so confused how they were able to continue to operate the ride after the first TBI occurred? How is that even legal?
Hopefully the families get some justice. They test these machines every day and know which ones are dangerous. Go to have some safe fun and end up in a coma. Quality control, safety, and engineering management should be prosecuted
