They were looking for a missing person? Yeah they do not get legal cover for trespassing versus pursuing a suspect. Hence the apology.
This was actually a pretty fucked up story. I have genuinely started to believe that cops become cops so that they can get away with violence and killing innocent things.

We're not quite finished finding ourselves not guilty of any wrong doing. It will take time for us all to go on to the next thing and then we'll put that officer back on our animal enforcement team.
