We should have been taught this is school. So many life skills were not a foundational part of education. It’s elective at best. Cooking, cleaning, and basic repairs should be mandatory for all students because they’re just basics for living as an adult.

He's absolutely right - the basic ones should be taught in school and some of them are absolutely bananapants.

However, at least they're easy to look up. It's actually impressive that they managed to agree internationally on one set of standard icons.
