How many views do you actually need to get paid on TikTok?
I keep seeing completely different answers to this and I’m confused about how TikTok actually pays creators now.
Some people make it sound like once a video gets enough views you automatically start earning, while others say the views mean nothing unless your account is already eligible for the Creator Rewards Program.
I know TikTok replaced the old Creator Fund and that eligible videos now need to be original and at least a minute long, but I’m still confused about the actual views part.
Say a video gets 100k or even 1 million views. Does TikTok pay anything just because it reached that number, or do you have to qualify and join the program before those views can earn money?
For anyone currently making money from TikTok, how many views did you have before you actually started getting paid? And are the payouts from views decent, or is most of the real money still coming from things like affiliates and brand deals?
