I hit a point in the last year where the crushing weight of the rest of my existence really came crashing down on me. I have a young kid and money is all I think about but then I think about her future and it stresses me out. My older dog is really getting old and that stresses me out because what will my kid think when the dog eventually dies? Why is it still 90% humidity and 100 degrees in September, that’s stressing me out. The thought of “it’ll all work out eventually” seems less and less realistic everyday and that stresses me out. Am I going to be perpetually stressed out everyday for the remainder of my life? That’s stressing me out.

Ever since I was diagnosed with a mass on my kidney (still don’t know what it is exactly after an inconclusive biopsy), these problems sound so mundane. As long as one has their health (both physical and mental), they have everything.
