The second your religion changes from "I can't do this because of my religion" to "You can't do this because of my religion" is the second it needs to cease existing. The fact this behavior is even remotely tolerable by anyone is pathetic.

I remember when I worked at TSA we had to do this once where they had to open a separate lane with only male officers to process these guys. It was such a pain in the ass to have to completely reconfigure our shift rotation because we couldn't use half our officers because they were women.

Some years ago a Chinese delegation was visiting Copenhagen in Denmark.

THe police was instructed by government officials to remove ANY protesters with "Free Tibet" signs on the route the Chinese delegation was driving through Copenhagen. That is illegal, you have the right to protest in Denmark.

Every government official denied it happened, but after years it came out that they DID instruct the police to remove the protesters.

I feel like this is kind of same, same but different situation.

These countries, China and India and so on EXPECT us to follow their rules and traditions when we visit.... They should to the same. But yeah.... Thin skin, poltics and power is a bad mixture.
