Posting my own instagram content to new Facebook page. Duplicate?

If I have an instagram that is gaining a following, and i have posted reels, and later on I start a Facebook page, and want to reupload that content to it, will the account be flagged for duplicate content?

Ain't no way I'm going to re-edit all of them. But i should be able to upload them as its my own original content. The duplicate policy is supposed to be stopping people from stealing content from others, yet I see the same videos being stolen and reposted by numerous accounts, but its stopping original creators from posting their own cobtent?

How did you deal with this issue when you post your own old content into a new platform?

I wouldn’t expect your Page to be flagged simply because you’re reusing your own original Instagram content, although automated checks can never be guaranteed

If you still have the clean original files, I’d upload those natively to Facebook rather than downloading the Instagram version with a watermark. You probably don’t need to re-edit every Reel, but I would adapt the caption and call to action where it uses Instagram-specific wording such as “link in bio”

I’d also stagger the older posts instead of loading the whole archive at once. That gives the new Page a steady starting library and lets you see which ideas translate best to the Facebook audience 🙂
