[TikTok Mystery] Girl reading her missing friend’s handwritten diary around 2020/21 — does anyone remember this?

So I know this is random asf, but I’ve been thinking about this for YEARS and I cannot find the original account, so I’m posting here hoping someone else at least remembers it 😭

I remember it was around 2020/2021 during quarantine. A girl came up on my FYP and I remember the first video I saw was her sitting in her car. I think she had brown eyes and blonde/light-brown hair, and I’m pretty sure she was white.

She had her male friend’s handwritten diary/journal, and she was reading the entries on camera. I remember she would physically turn the pages and then make another TikTok reading more of it. The entries were basically rambling/paranoid thoughts, and the guy was missing.

The comments were WILDLY split. Some people thought she was completely faking it, some thought the guy was schizophrenic/experiencing psychosis, and others thought the whole thing was an ARG or some kind of book promotion. I remember the videos getting millions of views, and people were waiting for every new part to figure out what was actually happening. I don’t remember it ever being confirmed whether it was real, an ARG, or promotion for a book.

One really specific thing I remember: the girl’s name was spelled differently but apparently pronounced like “Aritzia.” She specifically mentioned that it was easy to remember because it sounded like the clothing brand Aritzia. I think her name started with “Aer…”, but I’m not 100% sure about that.

I remember the diary entries might have had dates written on them, too.

Eventually I forgot about the whole thing, then randomly remembered it years later and tried to find the videos again. Nothing. I couldn’t find the account, the videos, reposts, or even anything about the story. Which is weird because I remember following her and possibly even saving one of the videos.

I’m starting to feel like I hallucinated this whole thing 💀..

Does ANYONE remember this account/series or know who the girl was? Even if you just remember seeing it, please tell me because I need to know I didn’t invent this 😭
