I hate this. I hate the visible power disparity between the kid and the adult because it reminded me how intimidated I felt as a kid. It also has reminded me how I had that exact same realisation and was hit with the same arguments. "Well why are you trying then?" Because the legal system forces me? lmao I did not exactly like school as a kid. "You'll be rich if you work hard" that's evidently not the case, and I DID try hard, I've tried hard all my life not like that even matters.

I really, really hate capitalism and how brainwashed people around me have been all my life. The things people have said to me in the past have given me some serious brainworms on my own self worth.
