I am a tattoo artist in a big city. Recently, i had someone download all of my content on TikTok and repost it as if they are me. They’re taking illegitimate deposits from people and then blocking them. My actual account is blocked so I can’t report them for “impersonating me”, and I cannot report them for “impersonating a celebrity” because I’m not one. I tried submitting a report online but haven’t heard anything. What can I do?
In every new video you make tell people about the other person and not to make any bookings unless they speak to you direct on the phone. Also have it in writing on the screen for anyone who watches in silence.
This happened to a tattoo artist friend of mine - copycat accounts across ALL social media, multiples. They pose as her and take deposits and disappear. She has not had luck getting any of them taken down and ages extremely upset and frustrated by it. Sorry this had happened to you as well.

The recording speed tool in the toolbar is gone. I need it to make videos. I've tried everything the dumb TT bot says, clear cache, reinstall, whatever, but the problem remains, and it's been two weeks. The latest version of the app is not available in the play store. Okay so there was a pretty viral tiktok dance video back during the pandemic that i've been absolutely fixated on learning. It was a young lanky guy in hugely oversized clothes (t shirt or polo 3x too big + oversized jeans or slacks) dancing to Rihanna's "S&M". He seemed to always film in his room, house, or indoors with other creators. The dance wasn't covered a lot (only by other established tiktok dancers. i assume because it was a high-energy dance that was quite complicated by dancetok trend standards) - but it was reposted and stitch-reacted to a LOT. I never followed him cuz i liked his videos enough that he would come up pretty regularly and i left it at that. I say this because I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to my old account any more and i can't see my old bookmarks 😭 Does anybody who was on dancetok 2021-2022 know who im talking about?? Im desperate! The fact that i cant seem to find this guy or the video even with ai is driving me UP. A. WALL!
If I have my profile views turned off and I turn them on to see who viewed my page and I view the people who viewed my page then turn off my profile views again, can they see that I viewed them if I turned it off after? Sorry if that sounds confusing, lol.
