Creator Over Consumption

Is anyone else tired of their favorite creator and their constant OVER CONSUMPTION. Not only do they get paid from tiktok, but they also get free swag, AND major tax write off. So WHY if they know how the rest of the country is struggling do they still push it down our throats with constant shopping videos.. One of my favorite creatirs was showing her large freezers and fridge and whinning about where shes gonna put half a cow they ordered. Like.....I honestly just don't get it ither than its GREED. OVER SUPPORTING THE GRIFT

I agree most are consumed with things and the idea of more and more but, buying a half cow isn’t over consumption for a family that cooks their meals. I’m fairly certain I know which creator you’re talking about because I saw the same video and that’s a very normal thing for a person to do. I’d rather see someone pack their half cow away than someone who has 1000 different foundations they got for free from a brand.

Personally i wouldn’t consider buying half a beef over consumption. As that is something that is very necessary to feed a family and can actually penny out to be cheaper in the grand scheme of things.

But yes, in general all the extra shopping trips into stores and all the massive hauls from shopping online or in store make me cringe and scroll past.

idk bulk grocery staples will never count as overconsumption to me. meat, vegetables, grains, beans, etc. We are a family of 3 planning on getting a bigger or second deep freezer. My husband is 6’4 & works a labor intense job, Costco & Aldi are 45 minutes away so we only go once a month to save on gas, we bought 10lbs of beef when it went on sale at the store, with all our proteins we ended up with around 30 lbs of meat for a busy fall, and we also hunt. buying a half of beef is the cheapest way to purchase and is quite frugal in most cases. however hoarding energy drinks and snacks is overconsumption.

Ordering half a cow is actually really smart if you'll use it. I am definitely grossed out by overconsumption but don't really care that they are trying to sell stuff, that's their job. Are you mad that stores are still selling candy and alcohol even though times are tough?

This is a reach. Buying a half of a cow is not overconsumption unless you’re like a family of 1. 😂 It’s economical and smart if you cook a lot at home.

Daycare Jess? Lol yea i get it. Also they get paid for sound promotions! I never knew it but when you keep hearing a popular song that all the creators are using they get paid to use the damn song by either lip syncing or having it in the background!

She pops up for me on occasion and to me she’s the example of a fake “influencer” she acted like her husband was gods gift to her, now he’s a bum and he lied about him being amazing for years. She now is this “poor single mom” and one of her fkn fans asks a simple question and idk maybe it’s me but, her response was rude. earlier this year auntie lisa had a divorce finalize and at that time she said she wanted to buy her ex out of the house. however flash forward to now….the woman has lost her 5th nursing / health related job in under a year. she is being forced out of her home because she lost her job during the refinancing and thought the loan office just wouldn’t check she still had a job. this woman is a bad alcoholic and she left her functional addict side in december of 2025. the entire year of 2026 auntie lisa has been on a consistent downward slope because of her addictions. alcohol is the main one that shes using to destroy her life in every way. for more context, she went on a cruise last week with a man she claims she met 4 months ago, who allegedly works in the recovery space….anyway when she got back from her cruise monday she posted she has to pack up her house and try to be out by THIS friday. lisa claims she’s doesn’t want to buy a house in this economy. but the truth is she CANT to buy a house. real talk she might not even get approved for the rental she wants, especially with no real job right now. auntie lisa has been on a bad downward spiral and it looks like its gonna keep going down. i encourage those that feel unsure or like im being dramatic to check out her content across all platforms and see if yall can see the lies and chaos.
