If I like videos or try to follow them though it just highlights for a moment then goes back like I didn't do it

For context my mother keeps watching AI slop family drama and when I tried to tell her she can watch the exact genre she's watching on real sites she just dismissed me. I've given up on convincing her and just want her to stop consuming AI slop.
Everytime I post a new post i cant add it to story nor can i promote it? I also put human effort on my posts so idk why its getting zero posts after getting a semi-trending post to ride the momentum. What happened to my algorithm?
