So much of the American economy is just people who sit in between the supplier and the consumer and jack up the prices.

Compared to the rest of the world, my experience of the states was constantly having to deal with scalpers & resellers, or their more respectable titles of “brokers” or “dealerships”.

If all you offer is arbitrage, then you have no utility besides exclusive access which can be destroyed by the supply side of the equation or the demand side.

I love to see resellers get destroyed, it's happening in the watch world with Rolex dickheads and it's hilarious.

The economy needs to be good for markups to be be exploited. When resources are scarce the suppliers will eat up most market value.
