its different backgrounds, always moving. sometimes it says something, other times it doesnt. Sometimes its the background like the ones with the plants or a landscape like a computer background, other times its like the data/hacking like screen.
For extra context, I don't live in Washington so I don't know why it says Washington either.
That Washington timestamp being there when you dont even live there is weird, like some location spoof glitch or the app pulling from a server somewhere
The moving backgrounds thing happens to me sometimes too, always thought its like a template that leaks through the video player, specially when the uploader used some effect
I SOLVED THIS! The glitches are ALWAYS right before a live stream. ALWAYS from another country. They're doing something to poison the videos before their stream to force you to swipe to their live!
Start telling the algorithm you aren't interested and it'll go away.
Same thing happens to me, weird cat with chinese matrix code in the back

if I swipe up then swipe back down it goes back to normal.

The end is coming.
0:35i have never been on tiktok nor will i ever be, but what i want to know is how do people actually like this app. Every promotion or ad i see for tiktok is just ai slop. And im pretty sure theres also a whole lote of ai slop videos on the platform that they push to users are too.
just wanna know because i see a lot of AI made content made on this app, and when i report it for not being labelled as AI made (which is everyone should be doing) i just hope it discourages the person who up loaded it from AI more and actually send time on the art or video or what ever the product is.
Cleared cache cookies even tried 3 other browsers, still i cant follow someone, when it refreshes it just unfollows again
