I need to be so clear when I say this is such a wrong mindset and its utterly inaccurate.

But I do see a lot of women who have had husbands who said they want children but they did not take any responsibility in raising them. They like the idea of their children but primarily discipline them or ignore them. It's the 1950's dad mentality. Mom does all the work and housecleaning. It feels like a trap. Its unfair, and it causes a lot of resentment. That isn't a justification of these kinds of statements by any means, its hateful rhetoric, but there's reasons behind the vitriol that sre going unsaid. Mothers feel disenfranchised.

Yk this is only such a popular opinion bc almost all of the women who liked it were predated on by men when they were a child. Happens to every young girl many times throughout life to varying degrees
