I feel like my world got smaller
Feel free to laugh, but that’s what it felt like when I got the message that TikTok wasn’t available. I’m sad. But thank God our representatives, who have done nothing, finally united to make sure this happened. Don’t forget Trump started this whole thing when he said he wanted to ban it and also on August 6, 2020 signed an executive order to put sanctions on TikTok.

Its not goodbye just goodbye for now
I dont think i can put into words what this app has done for me. I lost my dad a year ago and tiktok was genuinely the only thing that kept me sane. If this is truly the end if just like to say thank you. I know most everyone here has some type of storyof what TikTok means to them and if you want to share id love to hear them. Thank you TikTok for being a light in a darkening world.

My whole feed is suddenly trends using search bar
All of a sudden, just the last few days, my whole fyp is “apparently we’re supposed to be doing our makeup based on our zodiac sign” or “trying the lunch in my city trend” or “letting tiktok choose my outfit for a week“ - all of these require you to type in something in the search bar (aries makeup, lunch in LA, my outfit) etc… I had hardly any of this content before and I just don’t understand why it is suddenly being pushed on me so hard, why do they want me searching stuff? I have been scrolling past them immediately to show algorithm I am not interested but to no avail….. Anyone else experiencing this or know what might be causing it?

I miss 2022 tiktok
God no one understands how good it was. It all revolved around autumn and fall. I miss the darkness in the videos, where you could only see the person in the video, the old small font, the trends and the memes were the best. I remember the green sweater I wanted but never even got, how much people got into DIY stuff, pinterest was flooded with everything, the movies, the games, roblox. There were so many sides of tiktok, the music starting from girl in red and ending with metamorphosis. I remember Stranger Things 4, Wednesday and that dance, Backrooms, Sza and The World Cup. I remember the obsession everyone had with masked arabsand arabic songs, how much we lyp synced to it. God even the editing styles were the best, and Sonic was trending too, everyone loved it. Jit Trippin, the skeleton meme, anime obsession. I wish i could relive that same year again with my current age
