There are members of the falun gong cult who are writing nasty comments on here. If you see a nasty message from mostly new accounts in Chinese or from someone who looks to be Chinese but with a foreign IP, it's almost definitely them. Report them. They are trying to scare all foreigners away. They mostly target small accounts who have just gotten here.

Please share this on other subs or on tiktok, my account is new so I can't post to other subs like r/tiktok or r/tiktokhelp

I dont want people to think these are actual users

I've also noticed American men being disrespectful to the Chinese women. If I see it I report them and say something. It's so unacceptable.

Delete Twitter. I finally did it when musk bought the platform and it made a huge improvement in my rage at the world.

I don't understand why America wants to keep everyone so racist. You would think they would want us to be with other cultures so we don't treat "the melting pot" as nothing but something we're forced with. I'm over American socials.Chinese people are so much nicer than we are tbh.

It won't be long soon groups from Taiwan/exiled HK will join the community and stir the water.

No offense Americans but...

How do I see less American content on Rednote. I'm Canadian and it is showing me so many English text questions and the same old stuff from Americans. I'd rather see Chinese art and content.

not able to change ID/ user name on red note

I downloaded red note a few days ago, but didn’t open it until today. My friend was able to set up her account just fine, she was able to change her ID/username and set a selfie for her profile photo. But when i try, it gives me this error message “region currently not supported “ when I try to change my ID/username. I also updated my profile photo and it randomly changed itself back to a default photo of a broccoli. I’ve seen others have the same issue. does anyone know how to fix this?

How to appeal the right way?

Got restricted for 3 months. Mentioned some contact info in the comments in one of my posts and now they won’t lift the ban. I tried appeal in app and then through their support email for the past week. Nothing works. How did you guys do it? Any tips? -even though they banned me for some restrictions rule 6 or like makes my account unable to post or speak in chat. But what’s with the main page disappearance? That is just so annoying…

Restricted (& lifted!)

Some good news for people who are panicking about seemingly random restrictions. I got restricted this afternoon (3pm CEST) and it's already been lifted! All I had to do was appeal. Hopefully more of you can have experiences like this, but hope isn't lost! :)
