I know in my brain it's gone but I've quick opened it at least 14 times every time I pick up my phone or I get bored.

Honestly would have been good if it stayed banned for like even a few months the fact that people have insane withdrawal symptoms from not accessing a goddamn application for 1 day is worrying

I moved the app to a folder. Can’t bring myself to use it after the drama.

This is actually similar to substance addiction (I am a recovering addict who has experienced different types of withdrawal, for context.)

I recently heard an example said as: lock up your phone out of reach for just 24 hours. Each time you even think about your phone, that’s what it’s like when an addict gets a craving.

Honestly it’s the best way I’ve found to explain addiction cravings to non-addicts. It can be incessant and absolutely rule your mind, taking priority over other very necessary things.

Please people take it as a sign to change you tiktok consumption.

If you really can't go without it that's not funny it's sad. Go outdoor do something with friends, enjoy outside, make a plan, get something done. Start thinking.

There is soo much more beautiful and interesting things out there if you just let it.
