Yes, me and what seems to be hundreds of other people here on reddit and on twitter. I submitted a report through the website and this was the reply I got:
“Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. TikTok is once again available for the majority of U.S. users. We do expect some temporary instability to our services, which could impact TikTok features or users’ access to the app. Rest assured, we’re working hard to restore our operations back to normal as soon as possible. If you are still experiencing an issue once the app is fully restored, please reach out for assistance. Best, The TikTok Team”
Seems like a generic email because I’m sure they were loaded with help requests but it’s disappointing they haven’t acknowledged the foreign made accounts not working inside the US.
I’m going to try emailing again tomorrow afternoon if it’s still not working.
I would say definitely submit a report and tell your friends in the same situation to as well so they are more aware of this issue with the foreign created accounts.
