This comes up when you type in TikTok to the Apple Store. So is this like a flappy bird situation where you get to keep it if you still have it downloaded but you can’t download it anymore? Or is this just a huge ruse and in a week or so they will shut down the app anyways? Or have they just not completely restored it? Thoughts?

So TikTok gets banned for everyone for a few hours before the 19th, and now it’s already back—thanks to President Trump, who hasn’t even taken office yet. If I go to someone’s profile, open their reposts, and like one of the videos directly from their repost tab, does TikTok still send them a notification saying **“\[username\] liked your repost”**? Or did TikTok remove that specific notification and now say something like **“\[username\] liked a video you reposted”**? I’ve seen older posts saying there used to be a distinction between the two, but I’m wondering what TikTok does currently in 2026. Also, if the exact same TikTok someone reposted just appears on my FYP and I like it there, would they get a notif? Bc SO many of my moots repost TikToks that end up on my FYP and I like them, so would they get a notif every single time?? Basically I’m trying to figure out if the notification actually tells them that I went to their profile/reposts and liked it from there, or if they could’ve just gotten the TikTok on their FYP. I’m asking bc I wanna know if someone liking one of MY reposts means they actually went on my profile/reposts or if they could’ve just seen it on their FYP 😭 I HOPE IM MAKING SENSE LMAO
