Apologies if I got this wrong or if this is general knowledge but I was told the criteria for being able to go live on tiktok was (being 18+ and) having 1000 followers...my account only has 219 but I got a notification saying I can now go live.
Did everyone get this? Did the follower count come down? Did something change ages ago and I'm just horribly clueless?

I have around 400 followers and I can go live, I started noticing the change around September or so- if not earlier. I have no clue why or when it changed though
This is what meta wanted! stay away from meta. When they finally realized we don’t care for there apps. We have the right to our freedom of speech and expression on the internet meta isn’t going to get my attention
So TikTok gets banned for everyone for a few hours before the 19th, and now it’s already back—thanks to President Trump, who hasn’t even taken office yet. It’s like they wanted people to panic for a bit and then feel indebted to Trump. Manipulative, almost as if it was all planned to boost his image.
I JUST want anime edits and vids and I keep getting boring and unrelated vids I’ve searched up and liked so many and my Fyp still won’t show them any ideas what I should do?
2I can only watch lives, messages keep taking forever to show up when I press on them. Whenever I can actually watch a video it only plays for few seconds on mute then freeze again. I already cleared cache, restarted my phone and switched between my data and wifi. How can I fix this
