Tiktok has been compromised

I am convinced that Trump will be using TikTok to build & extend his MAGA army.

Mark my words.

I post videos of my cat. He's orange. The video I posted this morning has fantastic stats - 99% retention rate, good watch time, etc. Was getting a flurry of likes.... up until someone commented, 'My little orange man does the same!' My views have been frozen ever since. Now I'm wondering if 'orange man' is being censored too lmao.

I don't have proof but I feel that we are geo locked and aren't seeing content outside the US unless you were already following them. Also we aren't seeing all the weird lives from other countries. That's why it feels off. Mine isn't censored as far as I can tell I'm still on the very liberal last wing progressive LGBT side of tiktok

someone needs to build an american alternative. no, not X and not Trump's maga social media site. an american alternative by the people for the people that is completely objective. needs to be run by someone who isnt a billionaire with an agenda.

And this is the problem with letting the government control the media. Once again the Democrats were the ones to set precedent and now complaining about it once they no longer have control.

An app from China is compromised? An app Trump suddenly supports is compromised? You can't see it, but I'm wearing my shocked face.

My entire feed is Brooke and Jubal in the Morning so at least my feed is still intact lol.

Confirmation bias. Nothing has changed. The algorithm is still adapting to 12 hours of absolutely zero content from an entire country. Moderators are also just working extra harder in the midst of a political event which is Inauguration Day.

Also of course Tiktok will favor for Trump. They’re literally working closely with him and he was the one who stopped the ban.

Other than the Follow Train/Mass Follow/Teamwork stuff mine appears exactly the same including being followed by the various WhatsApp/Telegram spammers that use the same handful of half naked Asian women as profile pictures.
