I believe Rednote is a new promotional tool.

People in China want to share information with people all around the world.

We can share things with them (like OnlyFans). I've noticed many girls on Rednote as well. They can promote their OnlyFans using metaphoric conversations and outfits.

I don't believe Rednote will ban us unless we're discussing anti-China topics. If they do ban us, they risk losing a potential user who could promote Chinese culture or travel. Without foreign users, it would revert to just being an ordinary app, missing the opportunity to become a platform similar to TikTok, and ultimately losing out on potential revenue.

Rednote is the future.

Tiktok already has one foot in the grave.

XHS won't be banned because it is a "piece" of the machinery. I don't know about China, but American execs and politicians do not care what we engage with, so long as we remain in a state of absorbed positive boredom.

Yes, there is always fascination with the new, and the last week or so has been a beautiful cultural moment (one of the best some people will know for the rest of their lives). But Americans, as someone on XHS put it in a BRILLIANT way, are really good at striving. In his words, not mine (though I'm paraphrasing), "Americans won't move to change as long as they can continue living just barely above water, and politicians and executives know this."

And this is why XHS won't be banned. Because it allows for more diversion, entertainment, escapism, etc.

Call them the 1% or the Illuminati or the Reptilians or whatever the heck you want, they care only that we do two things: give them our time (with work/money or attention) and die (to make way for more of the same).

Yes, this sounds grim, but when you see how nearly 14% of the American population are living - in half-burnt houses (cause no home insurance), on the streets (cause no job security), with constant pain from working in insane conditions (cause no healthcare), or drugged up on illicit shit (cause all the above or more) - you realize that there are no other words. In fact, there really are no words, and everything I just wrote is ash compared to what these people go through. I am lucky to be able to write this. Because they go through what they go through, I am able to write this. I am able to go on XHS or Reddit or whatever and escape (I speak for myself, not for you).

And that's why it won't be banned, because XHS is a window, not a door.

The platform welcome all the people around the word. The rules of Rednote are to ban drugs, pornography, gambling and drugs, not promote politicians, and the content is mostly positive, showing life information and experience.

If someone wants to defecate, they can go to the toilet instead of the living Room.

Rednote has no intention of becoming like TikTok

XHS was in operation inside China for over 10 years before all the TikTokers showed up.

Making the Jump from TikTok to Rednote(Xiaohongshu)? Here’s What You Need to Know

So you’re thinking about switching (or at least dabbling) from TikTok to **Rednote** (aka Xiaohongshu)? Here’s a quick rundown on what to expect and how to adapt: 1. **Different Vibe** * **TikTok** is all about short, snappy videos—dances, trends, and memes. * **Rednote** leans more toward lifestyle tips, product reviews, and personal stories. Think mini-blogs rather than just quick clips. 2. **Less is More—or Is It?** * On **TikTok**, you can go viral with a 15-second masterpiece. * On **Rednote**, people actually read captions and appreciate detailed posts. Don’t be afraid to write a bit more and share personal insights. 3. **Engage with the Community** * Responding to comments is key on both platforms, but **Rednote** users expect a friendlier, more helpful approach. Focus on real interaction rather than just racking up views. 4. **Use Relevant Hashtags & Keywords** * **TikTok** hashtags can be trendy and fleeting. * **Rednote** hashtags and keywords should be more targeted, especially if you’re reviewing products or sharing how-to tips. 5. **Be Ready for Culture Shifts** * The **Rednote** audience often loves beauty, travel, fashion, and “real-life” hacks. * If you’re pivoting from dance challenges, consider experimenting with lifestyle or review content to fit the platform’s style. 6. **Quality Over Quantity** * While **TikTok** can reward frequent posting, **Rednote** might favor fewer, well-thought-out posts that really resonate. High-quality visuals and genuine storytelling go a long way. Got questions about Rednote? Drop ’em below—always happy to help a fellow content creator make the jump!

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship... And daddy israel doesn't like that so the AIPAC who's holding the American politicians by the balls... Forced them into banning the app.... It's not about privacy or any of that.... Remember edward Snowden.? I rest my case.

Y'all know why Trump suddenly became "pro-TikTok" right?

Say it with me....because he and his oligarch buddies are getting worried Americans are waking up to the truth about the anti-China propaganda BS in Red Note and will either demand better conditions or go full socialist.
