Need some assistance with live streams

I just unlocked the ability to go live. i plan on live streaming gaming. ill be playing/streaming on my pc. im kinda stuck on layout in the livestudio app. if i set everything up as landscape will it convert properly for verticle or do i need to set my layout up as portrait mode?
