I deleted it too like two hours after it went dark and have no regrets since doing so. Being away from that app really shows you how toxic of a platform it is even if it’s not the same vile toxicity that resonates on things like Facebook or Instagram reels lol

I didn’t delete right away, but after I went back after the ban, it just felt way different. People say it was the algorithm, but it wasn’t just that. I can’t explain exactly what it was but it was like going back to a relationship after the person cheated on you. Like the spark just wasn’t there anymore. Deleted it, now I only get on Reddit and YouTube.

TikTok deleted me yesterday lol

The only thing I miss are some vids and songs I had saved. I never bothered to download them though. Not because I didn’t think TikTok was leaving but I just felt like I’d it was gone forever I’d rather let it all go. And honestly it’s like getting over a good relationship that went sour.

Wait until it’s been purchased by the U.S. government then delete so it’s value plummets
