TikTok Lemon8 App Store Question

Hello,

I am currently in the US.
So I have done the following, I got NordVPN, I am connected to a Japan server, I have created a new apple id with a new region in Japan and I am trying to download Lemon8 and tiktok but the app store is not letting me. Saying that my country region does not allow it.

I am unsure if I'm missing a step to get this to work.

your phone meanwhile still american, gotta change the phone to where your at as well otherwise the store linked to your account shows it's american.. if that makes sense
