Starting a booktok?

Sooo, weird question maybe, but I am considering starting a booktok however dont really know if it makes sense? I have to admit Im also a bit shy/insecure about it.

I recently got back into reading and would like to “document” my journey of finding books that I love etc. Would also love to meet more people who like reading like I do, since I do not have many friends who read. I thought maybe a booktok might be a wat to do so…

But like, where/how do I start? Anyone have a booktok/bookstagram/booktube and has some recommendations? And concerning the meeting other readers part, anyone want to connect?
