Fyp had a super graphic video, what is going on?

I opened TikTok for the first time in a while. The very first video was an uncensored, zoomed-in video of horse breeding. Literally no warning or anything. It had like 60K likes.

Is this happening to other users? I reported it but I'm not confident in the algorithm anymore. All the other videos on my feed were normal, but I'm still afraid to use the app again.

Dude has my FYP

More importantly there are 60k people who liked that in hopes the algorithm shows them more animal husbandry videos.

There's an account RN that's like stuffables or something and they keep posting close up videos of gore. No idea what's going on. I reported it and tiktok took down one video and more came up on an official page from the same company.

You can click not interested as an option and it’ll show you less of those

Don't worry it's not only you. It happens to like new accounts it's weird but you have to keep pressing not interested in creater and video. Every time. The fyp is curated for you but China hasn't gathered enough data on you yet so they do this to new accounts. It's weird. But yea all the time. After a few days of data they finally give you a agent and filter all the irrelevant toks

Afraid to use the app because of one video? You can easily scroll past it - and like other users said you can click "not interested" to train the algorithm. You get to not interested by pressing and holding down on the video to get the popup menu and pressing "not interested". It'd be a shame to miss out on all the thousands of great videos because of one you preferred not to see.

These have been on the app for years I was unlucky enough to find that side of TikTok once I scrolled super fast and thank God it's not been back but there are other animals too not just horses it's apparently "educational"

This has happened to me before with very graphic violent animal abuse videos. One was so bad I literally couldn't go on my phone for 3 days it traumatized me so much.

What happens when TikTok is overtaken by Trump turds.
